In the past few years, Uproot Andy became one of the main ambassador of the new Global Bass musical genre, where cumbia, ethiogroove, hip hop and raï meet merengue and reggae. Resident in some of the biggest global clubs of New York, Uproot Andy is also pretty demanded for remixes (Thievery Corporation, Amadou & Miriam,...) and still finds time to tour the world to distillate pure global grooves.
