Parno Graszt is a legendary Romani band active for more than 30 years, and recognized as "Hungary's most cheerful Gypsy village band". Their sound is rooted in the Gypsy tradition of northeastern Hungary, and represents a specific local dialect of Roma music. Their instruments are acoustic guitars, double bass, tambura, accordion, spoons, milk jug and ‘oral bass’ which is a continuous vocal improvisation made by the percussionist.
The concert is supported by The Hungarian National Culture Fund (NKA) and the Institute Liszt – Hungarian Cultural Centre in Zagreb. Thank you!
